Small Biz (re)Boot Camp
A Six-Week Business Building Workshop
Begins Wednesday, September 22, 2010
5:00 PST
Are you a small business owner or solopreneur who is struggling with your business? Is your business everything you’d hoped for, or could it use an overhaul? Are you just getting started as a small business owner and want to get off on the best foot possible?
Then the Small Biz (re)Boot Camp is for you! This high-impact program is for fledgling entrepreneurs who are just getting their feet wet, as well as seasoned small business owners looking to re-inject some mojo into their business.
Creating a juicy, thriving business requires ongoing planning and re-evaluation, starting with a clear picture of exactly what you want your business to be, and how you plan to get there. After all, one of the main reasons you became self-employed is to do work you love, on your own terms, with you as your own boss, right?
Yet maybe you’ve lost steam because you don’t have a relevant plan. Or perhaps you had a plan once, but now it’s buried under eight years of dust and paperwork. Or you’re too busy putting out fires to think any further ahead than the next immediate crisis. Or you’re so swamped by the day-to-day minutia of ownership that it’s sucking the soul out of you.
Enter the Small Biz (re)Boot Camp, a jam-packed business development program for the self-employed. Think of it as part rehab, part personal training for you and your business. You’ll take a deep dive into finding ways to reinvigorate your business, re-connect with why you’re doing it in the first place, and figure out how to grow your business in a way that uses your best gifts and unique talents while leaving behind the stuff that drains you.
In The Small Biz (re)Boot Camp, you will:
• Get clear about why you are in business (hint: it’s not just about making money)
• Define your brand: what’s your flavor?
• Find your niche and target market (and no, they’re not the same thing)
• Create a Business Success Map of where you are headed
• Outline a detailed One-Year Action Plan to grow your business
• Know your high-impact focus areas where your energy is best spent
• Set goals and targets for implementing your plan and measuring your results
• Have concrete action steps to take toward meeting your goals
• Explore creative, low- or no-cost marketing strategies for getting more business
• Anticipate obstacles and set-backs
• Find your flow: learn to manage your personal energy
• Enlist support: who to call for help, where to go for info, etc
• Learn when to outsource (you probably shouldn’t be doing it all, you know)
• Learn to keep momentum and stay on task when the going gets tough
Whew! If that’s not enough to whip you and your business into shape, I don’t know what is.
So, how does this all happen?
Here’s what’s included in The Small Biz (re)Boot Camp:
• Six 75-minute training calls: group jam sessions packed full of content, discussion, brainstorming and accountability
• One 30-minute individual pre-program strategy session: where you and I talk about how to get you the most value from this program
• One 30-minute personal coaching call: where you and I connect mid-way through the program to focus on any specific challenges that you want help with
• MP3 recordings of all calls
• Weekly tools, worksheets, and resource list
• Email support during the six-week program
But Wait, There’s More: Did I mention that in between sessions, you’re going to be doing a lot of work? And I mean, A LOT. And yes, I’m going to expect you to show up to class with your homework completed. Or at least with some serious progress made on it. But don’t get too freaked out about it. It’s the kind of work that is fun, energizing, and exciting when you get into it, because you’re creating the picture of how this is all going to go for you, of how your business will look when it’s flying along at cruising altitude. Which is juicy, and thrilling, and totally worth spending the time on. Right? Right.
So, if you’re ready to get busy with your business, if you want to reignite your entrepreneurial fire, if you want to get serious about making your business work for you, then sign up now! Your business will thank you.
